Netflix is a subscription-based streaming service, where users can watch movies, documentaries, and series online and offline (after downloading) without being interrupted by ads. The service may vary by region.

The App Store for Android devices offers movies and series to rent or buy (+Download) and you pay per title. They can be rented for 30 days and you have 48 hours to finish watching once you start.

Disney+ is Disney's on-demand platform and online video library. As well as over 1,000 movies and series, there is a selection of National Geographic documentaries. Disney+ runs on all common devices and can only be used with a paid subscription.

Microsoft offers a streaming gaming service with “Xbox Cloud Gaming” (previously xCloud). Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users have access and can stream Xbox and PC games to their smartphones via the cloud.

BFI Player belongs to the British Film Institute and offers mainly British and European independent films via video on demand. There is a small free offer, and films can be rented for a fee or are included in a monthly subscription. read more
